An extraordinary cuvée created to celebrate Alexandre Gabriel’s 20th year as Master Blender of Planteray rums, this blend of rums aged between 12 and 20 years and sourced from Barbados captures the very essence of the island. Like other Planteray rums, this exotic cuvée has been aged in its country of origin, Barbados, but has also benefited from ageing in Cognac, in casks originally used for Ferrand cognacs. The meticulous blend is the work of Maison Ferrand’s Cellar Master, Alexandre Gabriel, following traditional methods from Barbados and his own region. - Colour: Attractive bronze. Nose: Initially floral and fruity, it then reveals notes of vanilla, cocoa and milk chocolate. - Palate: Delicious woody and mango notes reflect its advanced age, the result of long maturation in French oak casks. - Finish: Spicy, complex and lingering.
