Practising recognising types of fire

Thanks to the fire tank training modules, learners can practise recognising the types of fire they face: Class A, B, C, D or F fires. In this particular case, learners are practising recognising a Class B fire.

The Fryer Fire module is fitted to the : Flat screen + basket (to be purchased separately) for maximum modularity.
 

The flame generator training modules teach you how to select the right extinguisher for each type of fire: water spray extinguisher, water + additive powder extinguisher, CO2 extinguisher or foam extinguisher. For a deep fryer fire, the powder extinguisher is the most appropriate. Covering the fire with a damp cloth also helps to smother the fire.

The flame generator training modules are ideal for learning how to use the correct technique to extinguish a fire: spraying the fire with extinguishing agent, covering the fire with a damp cloth, oxygen deprivation, etc. If the flaming surface is not too large, the best method for this type of fire is to cover it with a damp cloth
