Statutory lump-sum compensation for late payment

A fixed indemnity of €40 is payable to the creditor for debt collection costs, on the occasion of any delay from payment... The indemnity is payable in full even in the event of payment of the invoice at maturity, regardless of the term of the delay (it is not due for each day of delay).
