Type 3 alarm equipment consists of one or more Ma (On/Off) type B.A.A.S (Blocs Autonomes d'Alarme Sonore) connected by a loop of manual triggers.

The B.A.A.S Ma Me includes a sound diffuser and a battery so it can be used in the event of a "power" cut.  

It has a pre-recorded message to inform the public vocally in French (and/or English) before broadcasting the evacuation sound signal NF S 32-001 and triggers the control of a servo system (fire door, sound system cut-out, etc.) for a minimum of 5 minutes.
