ZOLL Semi-Automatic Defibrillator - AED 3

Decree no. 2018-1186 of 19 December 2018 on automated external defibrillators 

"Art. R. 123-57 - Establishments open to the public which fall within the following categories are required to have an automated external defibrillator: 
"1° Categories 1 to 4 referred to inarticle R. * 123-19 of the Construction and Housing Code ; 
"2° And among those in category 5 : 
"a) Care facilities for the elderly ; 
"b) Facilities for the disabled ; 
"c) Care establishments ; 
"d) Railway stations ; 
"e) High altitude hotel-restaurants ; 
"f) Mountain refuges ; 
"g) Indoor sports facilities and multi-purpose sports halls.

Owners of establishments open to the public, as referred to in thearticle L. 123-5 of the building and housing code install the automated external defibrillator by :
11 January 2020 for ERP categories 1 to 3 ;
21 January 2021 for category 4 ERP ;
31 January 2022 for category 5 buildings.

Unique :

The battery is unique and is replaced every 5 years, allowing the defibrillator to self-test during this period (capacity of 300 shocks)

IP55 protection

Each AED 3 device is supplied with : 

• 1 pair of CPR-D adult electrodes and 1 pair of child electrodes (5 years without replacement)
• 1 intelligent lithium battery.

• 1 8-year manufacturer's warranty.

This defibrillator meets the requirements of standards EN60601 - CEI60601-1-11 - CEI60601-2-4. It is Class II and its internal power supply complies with standard EN60601-1.
