Type 3 alarm equipment consists of one or more Ma (On/Off) type B.A.A.S (Blocs Autonomes d'Alarme Sonore) connected by a loop of manual triggers.

The B.A.A.S.L Ma is fitted with a sound diffuser and a battery so that it can operate in the event of a "power" cut.

As soon as the control loop is opened, all the B.A.A.S. are triggered. It broadcasts the NF S 32-001 general alarm signal and triggers the control of a servo system (fire door, sound system cut-out, etc.) for a minimum of 5 minutes.

It also emits a light signal to alert the deaf and hard-of-hearing to the presence of a fire hazard, enhancing the perception of the emergency evacuation signal in noisy premises.
