Autonomous Sound Alarm Block (Main) Type 2B - 4 zones
NF certified in accordance with reference standard NF C 48-150 of 1989
Type 2b alarm equipment consists of a Pr (Main) type box and Sa (Satellite) type B.A.A.S (Blocs Autonomes d'Alarme Sonore).
The Pr type B.A.A.S can be used to set up a category C fire safety system (S.S.I.) with type 2B alarm equipment (E.A.). It has 4 or 8 manual release loops depending on the model.
Activation of one or more manual releases triggers the panel's restricted alarm and, with or without a time delay, the general alarm process lasting a minimum of 5 minutes. Sa type B.A.A.S broadcast the NF S 32-001 general alarm signal.
Two potential-free contacts, which can be individually associated with each of the loops, can be used to control (fire doors, public address cut-out, etc.). A code can be used to set the system to the off state ("mains power off") when the premises are unoccupied.
The system returns to standby mode as soon as the mains power supply is restored. An external control input can be used to control the start/end of class bell for schools, broadcast via Sa type B.A.A.S. terminals.
