Real-time feedback on CPR

The Zoll AED Plus comes with a CPR-D Padz electrode, which is made in one piece to prevent incorrect placement on the victim. In addition, the Zoll CPR-D Padz is equipped with sensors, thanks to Real CPR Help technology, which enable the defibrillator to provide immediate feedback on the depth and frequency of chest compressions during resuscitation. This considerably increases the victim's chances of survival.

Easy-to-use defibrillator

The pictogram on the ZOLL AED Plus is illuminated by LED indicators, so that rescuers can see more clearly what actions need to be taken and in what order. These pictograms are also very useful when using AEDs in noisy environments (such as petrol stations or swimming pools). In addition, the defibrillator has a multifunctional cover that can be placed under the patient's shoulder, ensuring that the head is in a stable position and the airway remains open.

Resuscitating a child

We strongly recommend that you use zoll Pedi-Pads II paediatric electrodes for resuscitating patients aged between 1 and 8 years or weighing less than 25 kg, which means the impact force is reduced, making it suitable for casualties.

Decree no. 2018-1186 of 19 December 2018 on automated external defibrillators 

"Art. R. 123-57 - Establishments open to the public which fall within the following categories are required to have an automated external defibrillator: 
"1° Categories 1 to 4 referred to inarticle R. * 123-19 of the Construction and Housing Code ; 
"2° And among those in category 5 : 
"a) Care facilities for the elderly ; 
"b) Facilities for the disabled ; 
"c) Care establishments ; 
"d) Railway stations ; 
"e) High altitude hotel-restaurants ; 
"f) Mountain refuges ; 
"g) Indoor sports facilities and multi-purpose sports halls.

Owners of establishments open to the public, as referred to in thearticle L. 123-5 of the building and housing code install the automated external defibrillator by :
11 January 2020 for ERP categories 1 to 3 ;
21 January 2021 for category 4 ERP ;
31 January 2022 for category 5 buildings.

The batteries are unique and are replaced every 5 years, allowing the defibrillator to self-test during this period (capacity of 300 shocks)
