B.A.A.S or Bloc Autonome d'Alarme Sonore is a device designed to emit an audible emergency evacuation alarm signal, even in the absence of a normal power supply. The use of BAAS guarantees that the evacuation signal will be broadcast, even in the event of a break in the connection cables between the control unit and the sound diffusers. They are compulsory in certain establishments open to the public, in accordance with the requirements of current regulations.

Le flash est activé lors du processus d'alarme générale : il s'agit d'un clignotement de la LED en façade.

SBMa Flash bénéficie d'un patented system alarm type indication :

• Voyant DM allumé : ouverture de la boucle de DM raccordée sur le BAAS Ma Flash
• Voyant BUS allumé : indique que le BAAS Ma Flash a été sollicité par un autre BAAS Ma en état d'alarme.

A remote control box (optional) can be used to switch the unit off in the absence of mains voltage.
