230 V propane and butane gas detector
This gas detector has been designed to detect METHANE or LPG (Butane Propane Gas) at a pre-set alarm threshold, corresponding to 10% LEL (Lower Explosive Limit). We recommend installation by competent personnel, as incorrect positioning of the detector can reduce its effectiveness. METHANE is a lighter gas than air and will rise; for maximum effectiveness, the detector should be positioned 30 cm from the ceiling. LPG is a heavier gas than air and will spread on the ground; the detector should be positioned 30 cm from the floor. Once connected to the mains, the detector needs only a few minutes to stabilize in an environment at room temperature to be operational.
