Fire alarm type 3, categories D,E: Manual sound alarm with recorded message and flash (MaMe Flash type). This B.A.A.S or Bloc Autonome d'Alarme Sonore is a device designed, even in the absence of the normal power supply, to emit an emergency evacuation sound alarm signal. The use of BAAS guarantees the broadcasting of the evacuation signal, even in the event of a break in the connecting cables between the control unit and the sound diffusers. They are compulsory in certain establishments open to the public in accordance with the requirements of the regulations in force.
