B.A.A.S or Bloc Autonome d'Alarme Sonore is a device designed to emit an audible emergency evacuation alarm signal, even in the absence of a normal power supply. The use of BAAS guarantees that the evacuation signal will be broadcast, even in the event of a break in the connection cables between the control unit and the sound diffusers. They are compulsory in certain establishments open to the public, in accordance with the requirements of current regulations.

The flashing light activates during the general alarm process: it is a blinking of the LED on the front.

SBMa Flash bénéficie d'un patented system alarm type indication :

• DM indicator light on: opening of the DM loop connected to the BAAS Ma Flash
• BUS indicator light on: indicates that the BAAS Ma Flash has been triggered by another BAAS Ma in alarm state.

A remote control box (optional) can be used to switch the unit off in the absence of mains voltage.
