The Sa Me type B.A.A.S.L. is fitted with a sound diffuser and a battery to operate in the event of a "power" cut. Opening the control loop triggers the alarm process, which lasts for a minimum of 5 minutes.

The recorded message informs the public vocally in French (and/or English) before broadcasting the evacuation sound signal NF S 32-001.

In addition to the audible evacuation signal (NF S 32-001), the integrated flashing light emits a light signal to alert deaf and hard-of-hearing people to the presence of a fire hazard, reinforcing the perception of the emergency evacuation signal in noisy premises.
