Type 3 alarm equipment consists of one or more Ma (On/Off) type B.A.A.S (Blocs Autonomes d'Alarme Sonore) connected by a loop of manual triggers.

The B.A.A.S.L Ma includes a sound diffuser and a battery for operation in the event of a "power" cut.

As soon as the control loop is opened, all the B.A.A.S. are triggered. It broadcasts the general alarm signal NF S 32-001 and triggers the control of a servo-control (fire door, public address cut-out, etc.) for a minimum duration of 5 minutes.

It also emits a light signal to alert hearing-impaired and deaf people to the presence of a fire hazard, and will enhance the perception of the emergency evacuation signal in noisy premises.
