Learn to recognize types of fire

Thanks to the fire tank training modules, learners can practice recognizing the types of fire they are confronted with: Class A, B, C, D or F fires. In this particular case, learners practice recognizing a Class B fire.

The flame generator training modules teach you how to select the right extinguisher for each type of fire: water spray, water + additive, powder, CO2 or foam extinguishers. For a deep-fat fryer fire, powder is the most appropriate extinguisher. Covering the fire with a damp cloth also helps to smother it.

Flame generator training modules are ideal for learning how to use the right technique to extinguish a fire: spraying extinguishing agent on the fire, covering the fire with a damp cloth, oxygen deprivation, etc. If the ignited surface is not too large, the best method for this type of fire is to cover it with a damp cloth
