REMINDER:
According to article R4227-34 of the Labor Code setting up a audible alarm system is considered mandatory in the following cases:
- Establishments in which the following may be ordinarily occupied or assembled more than 50 people,
- Establishments handling and processing flammable materials.
The sound signal must be audible from any point in the buildingthis audible signal is standardized in France, so that everyone can identify it as a fire alarm: it carries the standard AFNOR NFS32001.
For establishments open to the public, type 4 alarms are mandatory for the following locations :
