Alarme technique adressable

Technical alarm panels are used in all types of buildings (boiler rooms, elevators, technical rooms, etc.) to signal technical faults in installations. The input information is of the type free contact normally open or closed.

The main interest of this addressable system is:

  • To centralize data via input modules to limit the number of cables and reduce installation time.
  • To associate names with input contacts for better readability.
  • To configure priority contacts. Indeed, the control unit has four dry contacts. For each input, it is possible to assign a contact that will switch as soon as a fault is detected. The control unit also has a dry synthesis contact that switches as soon as a general fault appears.

The control unit, the true nerve center of the installation, manages the power supply of the input modules and communication. It centralizes and records all faults detected by the input modules.
A computer will allow configuring the control unit via a USB cable, including:

  • Naming an input contact
  • Assigning a relay
  • Inverting a normally open contact input

The software used is based on the JAVA environment, allowing it to adapt to all WINDOWS environments.

Visit input modules, each containing 16 inputs, allow reporting a fault to the control unit. A « TEST » button is present and signals a fault on all inputs of the module to verify if the information is properly transmitted to the control unit.

Visit output modules each contain 16 relays. They allow reporting the status of each input from the input modules.
These modules are used to remotely report information and associate it, for example, with a telephone transmitter. A « TEST » button present on the card can be used to verify the operation of all relays.
