Type 3 fire alarm, categories D,E: Manual autonomous sound alarm unit with recorded message and flash (MaMe Flash type). This B.A.A.S or Bloc Autonome d'Alarme Sonore is a device designed to emit an emergency audible evacuation alarm signal, even in the absence of a normal power supply. The use of BAASs guarantees the broadcasting of the evacuation signal, even in the event of a break in the connection cables between the control unit and the sound diffusers. They are compulsory in certain establishments open to the public in accordance with the requirements of the regulations in force.
