Type 1 fire alarm - CMSI 24 ZONES
BAYA is a fire detection system comprising a conventional control and signalling unit (ECS) and a fire safety control unit (CMSI).
This is the only type of alarm equipment that can include automatic fire detectors (AFD).
Control of the emergency functions (C.M.S.I. section) is independent of the fire detection section (E.C.S. section): in the event of a system fault or loss of power to the fire detection section, the general evacuation control remains available for at least 1 hour.
In addition, the C.M.S.I. section has its own power supply consisting of an A.E.S. (Alimentation Electrique de Sécurité) compliant with standard NF S 61-940. This AES is an integral part of the BAYA ECS / CMSI.
