How it works.

The proportioner (ref. A) is placed between the pump (ref. B) and the foam generator (ref. C). Adjust the pressure to obtain the desired flow rate and pressure at the proportioner inlet. Depending on the length of pipe at the proportioner outlet, the head losses will vary, as will the proportioner's suction capacity. The suction pipe must be immersed in a can of foam additive (ref. D) to create foam at the foam generator outlet
